Instantaneous Male BS336 Adapter with spring loaded non-return valve.
Manufactured only in Gunmetal this special BS336 Instantaneous male fitting incorporates a spring loaded non-return valve which makes it ideal for use when filling tanks, bowsers or pipework systems where there is no other valve or there can be no return when pumping stops.
The male BS 336 Instantaneous half is completely standard which means any standard female Instantaneous fitting can be used when filling.
There are two different styles of adapter. One version for tanks and bowsers etc. where there is a large volume for the valve to move into. This version has a ‘T’ suffix at the end of the part number. The other version is for use in pipe work or other installation where the movement of the valve would block the path of the water. This version, part number with the suffix C, is supplied with a chamber behind the valve. This chamber has a sufficiently large diameter that the valve can move into it and yet still allow the water to pass.
