Sight Glass
Despite advances in electronic flow control and measurement, a simple, direct visual confirmation of product flow is still required or preferred in many installations and applications. Intrico’s Sight Glasses are tried and tested in many road and rail tanker applications.
Intrico Sight Glasses provide the following:
- Flow through the Sight Glass is 100% of the line volume
- 3" and 4" line size
- Aluminium bodies
- Nitrile / SBR food quality seals as standard with Viton as an option
- Acrylic windows for durability with the option of toughened glass
- Many end fitting options including Bspp threads, flanges and Storz couplings
- Spares, windows and seals are available for maintenance
The aluminium bodies are strong enough to be inserted within pipe runs without additional support. If used at the end of the run, for instance where a hose will be connected direct to the Sight Glass, it is preferable to support the Sight Glass in some way.
We require the following when ordering:
- Line size
- Preferred window material
- Preferred seal material
- Preferred termination type
- Medium, pressure, temperature and flow rate
