Our False Valve Tops are manufactured in Cast Iron with a taper to BS5163 and supplied with a Stainless Steel bolt for corrosion resistance.
All new hydrants are supplied with a valve top but, with use, these become worn. Our False Valve Tops fit on the worn original and the bolt is tightened to ensure that the hydrant can be opened.
