'Punch-Lok'® Pre-Formed Clamps are stocked in Stainless Steel grade 201 material which is particularly suitable for high tensile hose clamping applications. It also offers corrosion resistance.
Supplied ready for use, 'Punch-Lok'® Pre-Formed Clamps are the fastest method of Band Clamping available. To use the 'Punch-Lok'® Pre-Formed Clamp, simply insert the hose and fitting into the clamp, slide the P-1000 Tool up the clamp 'tail' to the Lok, tighten the clamp using the ball ended handle, 'Punch' the 'Lok' using a hammer onthe punch head and then lift the tool over the Lok to snap off the surplus tail.
'Punch-Lok'® Pre-Formed Clamps are also available in high strength galvanised carbon steel in exactly the same sizes. These clamps are readily available and are suitable for most applications. They offer a low cost alternative to stainless steel. Please ask for pricing.
'Punch-Lok'® diameters are normally generous, however, if you are in any doubt, please select the next clamp diameter up.
Also available, in sizes up to 300mm inside diameter, are a range of clamps which are non-spring, pre-coiled to a specific diameter. They are not laced up through the Lok and are for use in applications where a Pre-Formed clamp cannot be placed over the end of a hose.
